Not like the old live.com that very slow, outlook.com offers much faster and simpler interface. You may still get connected with your social network account and chat via Live Messenger.

Where is shortcut to SkyDrive and Calendar? You need to hover your mouse on its logo at left-top side, and click arrow button. Hmmm, a minus point from design perspective.
To connect to your Facebook and Twitter account, click the link at left-bottom side. Again, it is a poor design placement.
